My Amazing Time In Arizona

It’s been awhile since my last time I was in the southern part of the U.S. I recently travelled down to Texas and then to Arizona.

Being a traveler is not easy, but definitely the best thing to do in your life. Thinking about Arizona you can see and do more things that you can imagine.
From road trips and outdoor thrills to rejuvenating resorts and unique local cuisine, Arizona teems with exciting travel adventures. Experience the exhilarating scenery, including the majestic beauty of the Grand Canyon National Park and the Sonoran Desert.. Averaging more than 325 days of sunshine a year, you can always plan on perfect weather.
No doubt, there’s a big reason why the snowbirds come to the desert regions of Arizona in the winter: the peak Arizona travel season lasts from November to March—at least in the Phoenix and Tucson areas, when temperatures are warm but not hot. Winter, however, is chilly at the Grand Canyon, Sedona and Flagstaff, which sit at higher elevations and even get snow. Spring and fall are good times to visit Arizona in general, though, when temperatures stay fairly mild, and in spring you’ll have a good chance of seeing desert wildflowers.
There is Scottsdale which is best experienced by way of the outdoors, so be sure to pack your athletic gear. If you love hiking, head to Camelback Mountain for a challenging workout that rewards with amazing views from the top. You’l find the core of Scottsdale’s cultural offerings. No matter how much you read about the Grand Canyon or how many photographs you’ve seen, nothing really prepares you for the sight of it. One of the world’s seven natural wonders, it’s so startlingly familiar and iconic you can’t take your eyes off it. The canyon’s immensity, the sheer intensity of light and shadow at sunrise or sunset, even its very age, scream for superlatives. You could spend the rest of your life hiking the Grand Canyon and never cover all the trails. Bright Angel Trail is the most famous, but it’s tough: with an elevation change of more than 5,000 feet, don’t try to hike to the Colorado River and back in one day. What I like about the Colorado River is that it extends all the way to Austin, TX which is one of my favorite cities in Texas. Last time I was over there was when I was visiting a friend in San Antonio who is an asphalt contractor and who showed me some of the construction sites where they were getting some concrete and asphalt work done. The trails that they were rebuilding looked amazing.

Other outstanding choices are the South Kaibab Trail and the Hermit Trail.
Frank Lloyd Wright was so ahead of his time that Taliesin West, his breathtaking residence and studio out in the desert, is as fascinating and relevant today as it was when he and his apprentices built it – by hand! – back in 1937.
This is not a “look, don’t touch” kind of place. In fact, you’re encouraged to sit down wherever there’s a chair and make yourself at home. The only place you’re asked not to take photos is in the working studio of the Frank Lloyd Wright School of Architecture, where students are continuing his legacy.
The Arizona landscape has inspired hundreds of artists over the years, so it’s no surprise that art abounds throughout the state.
Then Sedona his central Arizona city is a paradise for outdoor enthusiasts. Regularly described as one of the most beautiful places in America, Sedona not only dazzles with its famous red rocks and hiking trails ,but also with its energy vortexes. These unique rock formations are said to emit energy from the earth, and it’s an experience you have to feel for yourself to believe.

Making foreign friends when traveling through the USA

If you are traveling solo, you want to make friends while you are traveling. This can be hard if you don’t know how to talk to strangers and how to make friends. However, this doesn’t mean that you should travel alone without making any friends. There are a couple of ways that you can make friends without being too scared or without knowing how. These are a couple of ways that you can make friends while you are traveling solo.

Going to pubs and start talking to locals

This is the best way that you can find foreign friends when you are traveling. You can go to their pubs and just start talking to someone close to you. If you are in a country where there are friendly locals, this is something that you can consider. However, if you are going to a place where crime is high, then this isn’t really recommended.

There are many pubs where tourists are going. There you can also make a friend or two that might travel the same route as you. Or, that is looking for a foreign friend as well.

Asking for directions and also start making a conversation

This is the oldest trick in the book. You are going to someone, that seems fine, and ask them for directions to a tourist attraction. Then, you can start asking them out about the attractions in the area. And, with the conversation growing, you might realize that you have a new friend. Getting their number or Facebook profile can ensure that your friendship is lasting for a very long time.

Facebook where you can search for people beforehand

When you are in the planning stage of your travel, you can start looking for people that are in the country where you are planning to go. You can send them a friend request and start chatting about the country and the places that you can visit.

And, before you know it, you will have a friend in the country that you can go to when you are touring. It is always better to have a friend close by.

Going to local events

If you are staying for a while in one city, you can start going to local events. Sports events, dance events, and any other events that there possibly might be. If you are talking to someone next to you that have the same interests as you, you might make a friend or two. It is amazing how fast one can make a close friend by just attending the same event.

When you are traveling solo, you might want to make a friend or two while you are traveling. But, not everyone knows how to make foreign friends. With this guide, you will be able to know how to make friends so that you have even a much better time than doing this alone. It can be fun to have a foreign friend that can teach you everything about their culture.
