Rough Terrain Farm is a full service equine facility with an 85x140' indoor arena, attached stalls with boarding for up to nineteen horses, a half-mile race track, and miles of woods trails and country roads for trail riding and carriage driving. Conveniently located five miles from I-89 in Randolph Center, Vermont, the stable is easily accessible to Montpelier, and the Upper Valley area of New Hampshire and Vermont

Owner Leslie Haynes, a British Horse Society certified riding instructor, has extensive training in Natural Horsemanship (NH), dressage, and driving. She manages a diverse barn offering private lessons in basic horsemanship, long lining, pleasure and competitive carriage driving, dressage, and beginner to advanced English and Western equitation for adults and children (ages 6 and up). As a trainer, Leslie utilizes Natural Horsemanship, round penning, and de-spooking techniques. She specializes in re-schooling problem horses, teaching miniature horses to drive, training horses and ponies for riding, pleasure driving, and competitive driving events (CDE).

Rough Terrain Farm also has a separate co-op boarding barn, and offers quality riding and driving horses and ponies for sale, horse show coaching, arena driving trials, and clinics featuring guest instructors.
